I explored the origins, purpose, and role of Swiss Graphic Design and Typography, a movement defined by clarity, structure, and universal legibility. My research examined how the International Typographic Style emerged from post-war Europe, balancing rigorous grid systems with functional typefaces to create communication that was precise and accessible across cultures.

I’ve always been drawn to this straightforward approach to visual language. The emphasis on legibility and order resonates with my own design values—cutting through noise to present ideas with confidence, structure, and ease. This study not only informed my understanding of typography as a design tool, but also sharpened my eye for how graphic systems shape branding, communication, and culture.
